Project description:

Annual Interface by Goji  charity event for fifty prestigious guests in aid of Carpe Diem School which involves top class local establishments and performances by national artists. 

Project aim:

Interface by Goji is involved with the planning, venue selection, food and wine selection, ticket designs and ticket sales, as well as undertaking all actions related to marketing the event. Performing artist for the past three years were Rocco de Villiers, Chris Chameleon, Denise Deyzel and Louise Carver.

Mount Meru Hotel

Project description:

Relaunch of new hotel, promote, advertise, promulgate specials, events, etc.

Journey of Hope

Project description:

The Journey of Hope focuses on and celebrates the lives of breast cancer survivors. A group of breast cancer survivors from all walks of life travel across South Africa on Harley Davidson motorcycles 

Project aim:

To generate awareness around the issue of Breast Cancer and to raise funds in aid of twenty women who have undergone a mastectomy due to breast cancer and who would not be able to afford a breast reconstruction operation or a “breasted” bra were it not for this initiative.

Gourmets & Gourmands

Project description:

Culinary festival where 16 top class Garden Route restaurants are tasked to cook for a table of 10 guests each. Gourmets and Gourmands is a charity event in aid of Carpe Diem School which involves performances by a national artist and orchestra which performs while guests enjoy a luxurious meal and delectable wines. The evening ends with an auction in which guests bid to win fantastic prizes. Each year this prestigious event raises more than R200 000 in aid of Carpe Diem School.

Project aim:

To create awareness about Carpe Diem School; funds raised go to Carpe Diem School in aid of assisting the school in meeting the special needs of its students.

imPossible Journey

Project description:

One father’s journey to make the impossible, POSSIBLE.

Project aim:

Adolf & his friend traverse the ocean with a dinghy in order to raise funds for an operation for his daughter, Carly, who has Retinopathy of Prematurity, or ROP.

Events

Summer Sun Festival

Project description:

Arrange a summer program for the Diaz Strand Hotel from beginning December until 4 January each year with sponsors like 8ta, Telkom, Land Rover SA, Lipton Tea, Die Burger, Billabong, Quick Silver, Roxy , MTN, Algoa FM, Jeep,  to name but a few.  

Project aim:

This event involves setting up an event program, procuring sponsorships, designing and distributing large scale marketing and advertising materials, as well as hosting the annual touch rugby event, the Hot Summer of Touch, which attracts thousands of attendees and which has been held for the 13th Year on the Diaz Strand beach. Interface by Goji also assists with procuring local artists to perform in the Hotel’s theatre, such as Laurika Rauch, The Parlotones, Theuns Jordaan ,Danie Niehaus,  Kevin Leo, Chris Chameleon, Kurt Darren, to name but a few.

Grootbrak Grabadoo

Project description:

An annual mountain bike challenge owned by Interface by Goji which has been running for twelve consecutive years and which provides more than 1000 entrants each year with a choice between partaking in a 4.8km Fun Walk, or a 15km, 31km, 42km or 66km picturesque cycle challenge.

Project aim:

To promote tourism and sport(s) of a family event in the holiday season in Great Brak River and the surrounding areas. Interface by Goji is responsible for conceptualizing the entire event. This includes setting up a PR Strategy and Marketing Plan, managing the social media and online entries related to the event, assisting with the re-design of each year’s marketing materials, as well as assisting with the design and layout of large scale promotional signage and billboards.

Viljoen Juweliers Worcester

Project description:

Undertaking all activities related to the public image, PR and marketing strategies of Viljoen Jewellers in Worcester, a fine jewellery design and manufacturing company which was established in 1950.

Project aim:

Setting up a PR Strategy and Marketing Plan, managing of social media and internal newsletters, assisting with the re-design of their marketing materials, assisting with the design and layout of large scale promotional signage and billboards, as well as assisting with changes related to the redesign of the website graphics and content.

Cycling for Diabetes (C4D)

Project Description:

Events and activities undertaken in and around George in order to raise awareness around diabetes.

Project Aim:

Marketing & managing the Blue Walk and running a diabetes awareness campaigns for World Diabetes Day. Interface by Goji was involved with the setup and the design of the layout, securing sponsorships for the event, recruiting staff and creating awareness around the event.

The Hyatt Regency Bake-Off

Project Description:

Event conceptualized by Interface by Goji which is hosted by The Hyatt Regency Hotel by celebrity chef and Kokkedoor finalist, Marius Uys, in order to raise funds for Carpe Diem School.

Marketing the event to local businesses and individuals, planning and executing the event, conducting radio interviews as a means of generating exposure for the event.

The Rose Restaurant

roject Description:

Create awareness for a true Retro Afrikaans restaurant by means of an Arts & Culture evening.

Project description:

19th Annual event held in George with one of the largest old car displays in the country.

Project Aim:

Master Cargo Launch Cape Town

Project Description:

Arrange a corporate launch for the new, state of the art, Master Cargo truck depot, the trucking company who transports all the fresh produce and non-perishable goods between Port Elizabeth, Cape Town, and Namibia for Woolworths South Africa.

Project Aim:

To arrange a corporate launch for 150 prestigious guests who played a role in the success of the launch of the new, revamped Master Cargo. This involved conceptualizing the event from start to finish, the procurement of service providers, artists, entertainment, food and beverage suppliers and staff.
